Our weekend stay at Hostal Escarla in Aren was a delightful escape into the charming Spanish countryside. The staff graciously upgraded us to an apartment, ensuring our comfort and making our visit truly special. The apartment was impeccably cleaned, reflecting the attention to detail that defines this lovely establishment.Exploring the nearby medieval town of Arén, just a short 1 km away, added a touch of history to our getaway. The welcoming ambiance of the hostal, paired with the complimentary continental breakfast and nearby complimentary parking, made our stay both convenient and relaxing. After a day of hiking in the picturesque surroundings, we savored a delicious meal at the restaurant, appreciating not just the local cuisine but also the warm hospitality that permeates Hostal Escarla. The location, although a bit of a drive from the ski slopes at Boi-Taüll, offers a serene retreat that is well worth the journey.
